Description

Habitat

The rounded, compacted body of this early bottom-dwelling placoderm(of the rhenanid order) was extremely like that of a modern ray. Its pectoral fins were drawn out into wing like lobes on either side of the body, and the eyes and nostrils were repositioned on top of the head.
