Description
The Blue-lip Anemonefish is most easily separated from the other Australian anemonefishes by the presence of a broad bar on the sides of the body.
Location or Region Found
This species is recorded from southern Queensland to northern New South Wales and Lord Howe Island. It lives in association with anemones on offshore reefs in depths of 15m to 45m.
Special Features
The Blue-lip Anemonefish grows to 15cm in length. It is also commonly known as the Wide-band Anemonefish.
