Arctic Ocean
Arctic Ocean which border the northern continents and encompasses the far North including the North pole. The Arctic Ocean is the smallest ocean in the world. The Northwest Passage (US and Canada) and the Northern Sea Route (Norway and Russia) are two important seasonal waterways. A sparse network of air, river, ocean, and land routes circumscribes the Arctic Ocean.

Climate
Tropical cyclones (hurricanes) develop off the coast of Africa near Cape Verde and move westward into the Caribbean Sea; hurricanes can happen from May to December, but are most frequent from August to November.
