Lincoln Sea
Lincoln Sea is a body of water lies in the Arctic Ocean; it stretches from Cape Columbia, Canada in the west to Cape Morris Jesup, Greenland in the east. The northern border is defined as the Great Circle Line between those two headlands.
Climate
The Sea is covered with sea ice the year around; it is the thickest sea ice in the Arctic Ocean, which may be up to 15m thick.
The depth of the Sea ranges from 100 m to 300 m. Water from Robeson Channel which is the northernmost part of Nares Strait, flows into this sea. The sea was named after Robert Todd Lincoln. Wandel Sea lies at the east of Lincoln Sea (east of Cape Morris Jesup).
